Colleen M. Nguyen
Board Member-at-Large
Colleen M. Nguyen is a passionate advocate for health equity with extensive experience in public health and community organizing. She currently works at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, where she leads initiatives to engage and include historically marginalized communities in genomics research. Colleen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Davis and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Boston University. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Public Health (DrPH) at Tulane University.
As the daughter of Vietnamese refugees, Colleen brings a deeply personal perspective to her work. She has spearheaded numerous initiatives aimed at addressing health disparities, with research interests spanning cancer, infectious diseases, and mental health.
Outside of her professional work, Colleen enjoys spending time with her young family and exploring the outdoors. She is honored to join the board of Asian Women for Health, bringing her expertise and commitment to advancing the organization’s mission of improving the health and well-being of marginalized communities through education, advocacy, and peer support.
