Sohini Mazumdar, PhD is an authentic, purpose-driven business development strategy advisor and leader who partners with early-stage startups through established biotech and deep tech ventures to translate bold scientific ideas into investable, scalable businesses.

She collaborates effectively with C-suite executives, boards, and cross-functional teams, aligning strategy with corporate objectives to deliver high-impact results that fuel innovation and growth. Combining scientific training with business acumen, she applies expertise in market analysis, partnership strategy, due diligence, and portfolio development. With a cross-disciplinary lens that bridges science, market insights, and storytelling, Sohini accelerates commercialization and amplifies impact.

As the Founder of Erudite Co, she partners with mission-driven founders, research spinouts, and innovation-driven teams to drive growth and market translation. She also supports tech transfer offices and leading accelerators—including Mass Next Gen, Equalize, and Blueprint—with strategy, coaching, and investor readiness guidance.

Previously, Sohini held senior roles at Agios Pharmaceuticals, Mass General Brigham Innovation, and Clarion Healthcare (now Lumanity), where she shaped portfolio strategies, advanced pipeline growth through transformative transactions, enabled a major oncology divestiture, and advised on licensing, spinouts, and business development decisions.

A PhD-trained geneticist from Tufts University School of Medicine, Sohini bridges science, business, and narrative to guide commercialization pathways and long-term value creation. She is also deeply committed to advancing diverse entrepreneurs, mentoring through accelerators and entrepreneurship programs in the innovation ecosystem. Outside of work, she enjoys acrylic painting, photography, and aspires to write her first fiction novel.
