Catherine Chung
Director of Operations & Strategy

Catherine “CC” Chung (she/her) is a strategist and program leader dedicated to equity, empowerment, and systemic change. She is passionate about expanding economic opportunity and improving well-being for historically marginalized communities – designing and implementing solutions grounded in lived experience, data-driven insights, and sustainable impact.
As Director of Operations and Strategy at Asian Women for Health, CC steers organizational priorities, program alignment, and sustainable growth. She has led key initiatives, including the ACCESS-PD research program and the Racial Justice in Health advocacy program. Her previous roles span diverse sectors: managing R&D programs and enablement at Twilio, advancing economic and community development for Rhode Island’s design sector at DESIGNxRI, and managing a national network of social impact innovators at Design for America.
CC studied Social Policy and International Studies at Northwestern University and is pursuing an Executive Master of Public Administration at Cornell University’s Brooks School of Public Policy. She serves on the board of Community MusicWorks and has volunteered with the RI State Council on the Arts and the RI Council for the Humanities. A dedicated mentor and a coach, she finds joy in exploring the jazz scene, watering her plants, or experimenting with new recipes.
